Sundance - Rebrand Pitch

The fine folks at Capacity brought me in to lead a pitch and develop a new level of sophistication both conceptually and visually to Sundance Channel's on-air branding.

As a channel synonymous with independent film, Sundance Channel values the independent spirit in everyone and wanted to awaken that same spirit in its viewers. I developed several ideas and themes that shared the common thread of storytelling to capture the independent personality behind the channel.

Once the styleframes and core concepts were in place, Capacity's founder Ellerey Gave and I worked even closer together to assemble and polish the presentation to get it all out the door in time. Although the project didn't end up awarding to Capacity, I wish it had because the execution would have been spot on. They do some of the absolute best branding work around.
